It's on Djurgården, the green museum island. Order toast Skagen, prawns in dill mayonnaise on fried bread, rather than defaulting to meatballs. Best time is June to August for warm days and the white nights, when it never goes fully dark — but that's also the priciest stretch, so a cheap fare and good weather rarely line up. Winter is dark, properly cold, and quiet.
