Luanda sits on the Atlantic where Portuguese is the language and the kwanza the currency. The thing to do is cross to the Ilha do Cabo, a thin sandbar curling off the city lined with seafood restaurants — order mufete, grilled Atlantic fish served with beans, cassava and palm oil.
