Cheap Flights Warsaw to Singapore 2026 — Fares, Airlines & Best Time to Book

Warsaw to Singapore is a genuine long-haul, and it is worth being honest up front: there is no non-stop flight, and our latest fare check confirms it. What that check also found is that the cheap end of this route looks nothing like the usual advice: the Gulf carriers barely appear, three quarters of the cheapest fares are self-transfers on two separate tickets, and a quarter of them leave from Modlin rather than Chopin. This guide covers who really flies it, what a return costs in złoty, and which savings are worth taking.

Route: Warsaw Chopin (WAW), or Modlin (WMI) on many of the cheapest fares → Singapore Changi (SIN)

Distance: approximately 9,400 km (5,850 miles) direct

Non-stop flight time: no non-stop — connecting journeys run about 15h 50m typically, from 14h 20m at best to 26h 25m at worst

Direct flights: No. There is no non-stop Warsaw–Singapore service. In our latest check the cheap fares connected at Athens, Vienna, Helsinki, Bangkok or Abu Dhabi — most of them combining a European budget flight with Scoot or another long-haul carrier on a second ticket.

Fares from Warsaw to Singapore (PLN)

Singapore is a year-round hub with no single “beach season”, so fares track school holidays and hub competition more than the weather. Christmas–New Year and the European summer holidays are the priciest; the quieter shoulder weeks in spring and autumn are cheapest. The table below tracks that demand; for money, use the measured figures underneath it, and read the note about separate tickets before you book on price alone.

Month Demand
January high
February medium-high
March medium
April medium
May medium
June high (holidays)
July high (holidays)
August high
September medium
October medium
November medium
December very high (holidays)

Reference points from a live fare check on 5 August 2026 — the 100 cheapest economy returns, hand baggage only, for departures between August and November 2026. Fares ran 2,472–12,897 zł, but the cheap end is tightly packed: the median was 2,884 zł and four in five sat between 2,746 and 3,094 zł. Treat about 2,900 zł as the going rate and anything near 2,500 zł as the practical floor. The important caveat is not the price but the ticket: the cheapest fares, from 2,472 zł, are Wizz Air out of Modlin combined with Scoot via Athens on a separate ticket, taking close to 24 hours. The cheapest itinerary on a single ticket was Finnair via Helsinki at about 2,820 zł. We hold no recorded price observations for Warsaw–Singapore, so no long-run average is claimed here.

Airlines on this route

There is no non-stop, so every option connects. The received wisdom is that the Gulf hubs win on price here; in our check they did not appear at the cheap end at all. Ranked by what they actually cost:

Connecting (14h 20m at best, about 15h 50m typically, up to 26h 25m):

  • Wizz Air from Modlin, connecting to Scoot at Athens — the cheapest fares on the route, 2,472–2,857 zł. Two separate tickets, a different Warsaw airport, and about 23h 45m end to end. Genuinely cheap, but nobody is responsible for the connection.
  • Finnair via Helsinki — the best single-ticket option we found, 2,820–2,921 zł and around 15 hours, with a short first hop from Chopin. If you want one airline and one contract, start here.
  • LOT Polish Airlines with a partner — convenient from Chopin, feeding Vienna, Bangkok or Delhi for the onward leg. It held the most fares of any single carrier but a median of 3,024 zł, so convenient rather than cheap.
  • Etihad via Abu Dhabi — the one Gulf carrier that did show up, at 2,815–3,101 zł, on a single ticket with a widebody on the long leg.
  • Turkish Airlines via Istanbul — a large operation with many daily options, though only four of its fares reached our cheapest hundred.
  • Qatar Airways via Doha and Emirates via Dubai — both fly Warsaw and both are excellent products, but neither produced a single fare among the 100 cheapest we checked. Price them rather than assume they lead.

The single most useful thing to know about this route: 76 of the 100 cheapest fares we found are self-transfers — two separate tickets, often a budget flight from Modlin to Athens and then Scoot onward to Singapore. If the first flight is delayed you re-book the second yourself, and bags are not checked through. The saving over a single-ticket Finnair fare was around 350 zł, for roughly nine extra hours and all of the risk. Decide which of those you are actually buying before you compare on price.

When to book & how to save

  • Book 2–4 months ahead for the best balance of price and choice; long-haul fares to Singapore rarely fall in the final few weeks.
  • Avoid the peaks — the European summer holidays (June–August) and Christmas/New Year are the busiest and most expensive; spring and autumn are noticeably cheaper.
  • Compare the hubs — but the right ones. On our dates the cheap connections ran through Athens, Vienna and Helsinki, not Doha or Dubai. Check Abu Dhabi too: Etihad was the only Gulf carrier to reach our cheapest hundred.
  • Mind the layover — and the ticket. Total journeys in our check ran from 14h 20m to 26h 25m. Before comparing two fares, check both the end-to-end time and whether it is one booking or two.
  • Check the bag: Gulf and full-service carriers usually include 25–30 kg to Singapore, but the lowest “light” long-haul fares may not — compare the all-in price.

Arriving in Singapore

All flights land at Singapore Changi (SIN), regularly rated among the world’s best airports, about 20 km east of the city. The cheapest way into town is the MRT (East–West Line) from Changi, around 45 minutes to the centre for well under 10 zł. A metered taxi to the CBD takes 20–30 minutes and costs roughly 60–100 zł including any airport and late-night surcharges; ride-hailing apps are similar.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the flight from Warsaw to Singapore?

There is no non-stop flight, so the journey is measured end to end. In our latest check the median was 15 hours 50 minutes, the quickest itinerary 14 hours 20 minutes and the slowest 26 hours 25 minutes. The cheapest fares sit near the slow end — the Modlin–Athens–Singapore routing runs about 23 hours 45 minutes.

Are there direct flights from Warsaw to Singapore?

No. There is currently no non-stop Warsaw–Singapore service, and all 100 of the cheapest fares in our latest check connected. The common hubs on those fares were Athens, Vienna, Helsinki, Bangkok and Abu Dhabi — not Doha or Dubai, neither of which produced a fare at the cheap end. Note that three quarters of them are two separate tickets rather than one booking.

How much does it cost to fly from Warsaw to Singapore?

In a live check of the 100 cheapest economy returns for departures between August and November 2026, fares ran 2,472–12,897 zł with a median of 2,884 zł. The floor of 2,472 zł was a two-ticket Modlin–Athens–Singapore routing; the cheapest single ticket was about 2,820 zł on Finnair. The summer and December holidays sit above this range.

What is the cheapest month to fly from Warsaw to Singapore?

Of the months we could actually price, September held the most cheap fares — 52 of the hundred cheapest, from 2,472 zł. April and May sit outside the bookable window our check could reach, so we quote no figure for them, though spring is traditionally the other cheap stretch. Avoid the European summer holidays and the Christmas/New Year peak, which are the busiest and most expensive weeks of the year.

Which airlines fly from Warsaw to Singapore?

All routings connect. In our latest check the cheapest combined Wizz Air from Modlin with Scoot via Athens on separate tickets; the cheapest single ticket was Finnair via Helsinki. LOT Polish Airlines with a partner held the most fares but at higher prices, and Etihad via Abu Dhabi was the one Gulf carrier to appear. Qatar Airways (Doha), Emirates (Dubai), Lufthansa, Air France and KLM all serve the route but produced no fare among the cheapest hundred.

Which airport do I fly into in Singapore?

Every flight lands at Singapore Changi (SIN), the country’s only major international airport and a frequent “world’s best” winner. It is about 20 km east of the centre and connected by the MRT metro and by taxi, so getting into the city is quick and cheap.

How far in advance should I book Warsaw to Singapore flights?

Aim to book 2 to 4 months ahead. Long-haul fares to Singapore tend to rise as departure approaches, especially around the summer and Christmas peaks, and the cheapest one-stop fares sell first. Early booking almost always wins on this route.

Is it cheaper to fly on weekdays?

On this route it is the other way round. In our check the median midweek return was 2,992 zł against 2,661 zł for Friday to Sunday, so the weekend was about 12% cheaper, with Sunday holding the single lowest fare of all. Being flexible by a day or two is still worth doing, but do not assume midweek is the saving here.
