What you actually get on a cheap STARLUX deal fare: a real checked bag. STARLUX has no stripped-out “no-bag” Basic fare, so the cheapest Economy Limited ticket still includes one 23 kg checked piece plus a 7 kg carry-on and a personal item — and that holds on every route, including the long-haul North America services to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Ontario. The thing to budget for isn’t the bag, it’s the second piece.
