Tangier sits where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, staring across the Strait of Gibraltar at Spain just 14 km off. Best time is April–May or September–October — 20–27°C, fewer crowds, and cheaper than the hot, packed summer. Winter stays mild but grey and windy.
