🌍 About Bonaire

Brisbane is Australia's sunniest big city, built along a looping brown river with a subtropical climate warm enough to swim most of the year. The standout is South Bank's Streets Beach — a free, man-made lagoon with real sand right in the centre of town, next to GOMA, the country's largest modern-art gallery. Order Moreton Bay bugs, a sweet flat local lobster named after the bay just offshore. For dinner go to Howard Smith Wharves under the Story Bridge, or James Street in Fortitude Valley. Skip summer (December–February): it's humid, storm-prone and sticky. Come April–May or September–November for dry, clear days in the low-to-mid 20s — and those shoulder months often line up with the cheaper fares, too.
