Royal Air Maroc is the only carrier in this series whose published transit benefit starts with food, not a bed — and whose hotel is explicitly conditional. Its own page sets out a five-row matrix, and the wording matters: you “may possibly benefit from a hotel room”, subject to availability. Treat the meal as the entitlement and the room as a bonus.

The cabin split nobody mentions
The threshold is not the same for everyone. Business Class passengers reach the hotel tier at over 8 hours; Economy passengers need over 12. A ten-hour Casablanca layover therefore puts a Business passenger in scope and leaves an Economy passenger with a meal.

If you are staying airside, the Oasis Lounge in the Terminal 2 transit area has relaxation areas with lounge chairs, a children’s area and a business centre.
Where the meal actually happens
RAM redesigned its transit catering around choice rather than a fixed tray. Rather than issuing a voucher for one outlet, it lets you compose a meal up to the stated value at participating restaurants across both terminals at Mohammed V International — the named outlets include Café Verro, Pomme de Pain, Le Medina, Illy and Mr. Brochette. A salad, a full meal or a sandwich is your call within the budget.
One eligibility line that is easy to miss
RAM footnotes the whole transit-services table with a single qualifier: it applies to passengers connecting to an international flight. If your onward leg out of Casablanca is a domestic Moroccan sector, you are outside the scope of the table above — worth checking before you plan a meal or a room around it.
